Chicago’s very own Soulful Songstress, Meagan Hickman is “On her Way” with musical accomplishments. Classically trained singer since the age of six, Meagan Hickman has traveled and performed in numerous venues all over the world from Australia to Brazil with an array of accomplished musicians such as Garth Brooks, Dennis D. Young, the Berlin Phil Harmonic, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has be en featured on National Television.

Featuring Pop/Rock/Soul material off her debut Ep, On My Way, Meagan offers a heartfelt and honest perspective into many of life’s challenges. “Capturing and musically expressing life’s most precious, thought provoking moments and then empowering a listener through lyric and melody, is the most rewarding experience I could ever ask for.” With major fan bases in Chicago, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville, Meagan is captivating audience members of all ages with her groove oriented, catchy hooks; pure and soulful sound; powerful lyrics; and unique fusion of contemporary styles.

Describing her writing style and sound alike to such artists as Blues/ Rock icon, Bonnie Raitt, combined with the sweet, Pop thematic melodies of Sara Bareilles, and yet gut wrenching, soulful, lyrical content of such artists as India Arie; Meagan is paving her way as an original artist.

As a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Meagan pursues her career full time writing, recording, producing, touring, and collaborating with other experienced musicians worldwide as “Meagan Hickman & Company”. Placing a high priority on promoting "On My Way", Meagan most recently completed the first U.S. East Coast leg of her "Coast to Coast Tour" and plans to tour the West Coast Fall 2012. In the meantime, Meagan resides in Chicago, writing and producing her next album, due to release in Fall 2012.

Musician, poet, and songwriter Cole DeGenova has spent most of his life crafting his eclectic artistic voice. Born in Chicago and growing up in a family of musicians and artists, DeGenova began playing piano at age four and spent his childhood studying classical piano, the jazz and blues of his hometown, and the pop music of The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and D’Angelo. By age 15 he was playing professionally in jazz and blues clubs on Chicago’s South Side. His prodigious talents led him to study at Berklee College of Music in 2005 where he trained further with jazz piano great Danilo Perez. After forming his funky alternative soul group Cole DeGenova & The Peoples Republic with fellow Berklee students, they released their first album JUST PEOPLE AGAIN in 2009. Three years later, and after thousands of miles of road covered, his second album, ANOTHER COUNTRY, is here this summer 2012; an inspired culmination of lessons learned on the road, soulful melodies, and the infectious grooves of his band. A troubadour in the truest sense, Cole DeGenova has performed alongside or opened for the likes of Saul Williams, Kurt Elling, Patricia Barber, Meshell N’degeocello, Paula Cole, J Davey, and rapper the GZA.
