Chicago Screenwriters Network 2012 Awards Ceremony

Come be part of the Chicago Screenwriters Network Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, September 12 at the Mayne Stage. This will be a special night as we not only announce the winner of our screenwriting contest, who will receive a 4-day/3-night industry trip to LA, but also we will give away our very first Founders' Award to Director/Writer, Andrew Davis (The Fugitive, Holes, The Guardian, The Package, A Perfect Murder, Under Siege, and more action packed hits than we can mention!). Andrew will present his 36 minute documentary, The Making of Stony Island, Music Makes Us One, featuring interviews with Davis, Producer Tamar Hoffs along with music legends Quincy Jones, Gene “Daddy G” Barge, Chuck D. of Public Enemy, and successful cast and band members including Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles, Richard Davis, and Rae Dawn Chong as they reflect on the importance of music, culture and race on the South Side of Chicago in the late 70's and the impact of the making of the film on their lives. Combine this with live performances of scenes from award-winning scripts and other secret surprises; you are in-store for a very special night!

Admission is $20 for CSN members and $25 for non-members. Contest readers get in for free! For tickets to this spectacular event, please visit http://www.csnawards.eventbrite.com.
